PROJECT ELEMENT | Our Story and Inspiration
PROJECT ELEMENT is a sensory design studio creating modern fragrances shaped by Asian culture, art, poetry, nature, and everyday ritual.
Our creative language draws from tea ceremonies, seasonal landscapes, porcelain, ink painting, traditional gardens, and the quiet beauty of ordinary moments. A cup of oolong, osmanthus blooming in autumn, bamboo moving in the wind, rice wine shared at a table, or red dates simmering in warm milk can become the beginning of a scent.
Art teaches us to consider composition, contrast, texture, and negative space. Poetry reminds us that meaning does not always need to be fully explained. We approach fragrance in the same way, carefully placing each note while leaving space for emotion, memory, and personal interpretation. Our compositions unfold gradually like poems, revealing different images and feelings over time.
The PROJECT ELEMENT aesthetic is modern and minimal yet emotionally layered. Traditional Asian references meet contemporary materials and global fragrance techniques, creating scents that feel both familiar and unexpected. Tea, flowers, fruit, wine, herbs, woods, milk, and incense-like accords appear throughout our collections, reimagined through a refined and personal perspective.
Our work moves between personal and spatial fragrance. Perfumes settle intimately on the skin. Candles and reed diffusers shape the atmosphere of a room, while car diffusers bring a quiet sensory ritual to the journey. Each format offers a different way to experience the relationship between scent, place, and memory.
We create for people who appreciate nuance, craftsmanship, and objects with emotional meaning. A fragrance may recall a landscape, a line of poetry, a family tradition, or a fleeting moment that cannot be completely described.
PROJECT ELEMENT believes scent is an invisible art form—intimate, atmospheric, and transformative. Through every fragrance, we invite you to pause, notice, remember, and discover the element that speaks to you.
